Summer of Nurgle: Nurgle Beast
Big conversion using GW's Beast of Nurgle kit (plastic, by Aly Morrison) and Mierce miniatures bitz from S'hcrhro'tum-b'hoss, Lord of Pus with Pusling and Scythe (resin, by Stéphane NGuyen van Gioi and Tim Prow).
I have also used quite a lot of green stuff, white Milliput for the skin's finishing touch and some small metal and plastic balls for the pus spots.
This is a unique piece.
The base is from Secret Weapon's. I have used Greenstuff World's Lime Fluor UV resin to create the pus puddles. Great product. I'll use it quite soon in a much greater quantity because another huge Nurgle monster is coming this way...
I have used a mix of the new Citadel Contrast paints for this model. I really love them! They are really the invention of the year! Thank you Games Workshop's mad scientists!
Here is the WIP of the model. The arms and legs have been fixed to a resin body with metal paperclips and the whole thing covered in green stuff.
Then I have added some White Milliput for some part of the skin to had some scratches and pus spots.

Below are the models that have been used to create this beast. The original Nurgle Beast by Games Worshop is really too childish for me. It's like a giant slug. I wanted to make it more impressive on the Battlefield.
The Mierce model is really impressive, but I'm not a big fan of the head. I just had a few parts from the sculpt: the left hand with the Nurgling (3 copies) and the left leg. The rest has just been sculpted.
